Change YOUR life... by supporting refugees.

We have lots of volunteer opportunities for people who would love to support, befriend or work with refugees. Some of our roles involve direct contact with refugee families and individuals, other roles are more behind-the-scenes, but just as important.

We love our volunteers and couldn't do what we do without them!

We will also be recruiting volunteers to support our new Firm Foundations project for refugee children and their families. Email sam@upbeatcommunities.org if you would like to be notified when applications are open.

Once you’ve applied, we’ll wait for references to come in before setting up an interview with the relevant Project Coordinator. You will then be expected to attend a day-long training session before being inducted as a volunteer.

All our volunteers receive training and regular on-going support from our staff.
