Here’s some inspiration if you’re stuck for where to start with your own fundraiser:
Twin your baby shower
Upbeat works closely with refugee mothers in our city who are often very isolated. If you’re expecting a baby, you can invite your guests to make a monetary donation towards our work. The same idea can also work well for a birthday, or wedding!
Bake with your little ones
Fancy a bit of baking? A simple bake sale is a great way to get kids involved, feed people, and raise awareness for our work. You could be like Charlotte, who raised £162.75 thanks to the Duffield Dynamos Under 6 team — and their hungry parents!
Get on your bike
If you’re sporty, you could cycle a long way like Tim and Beate, who took part in the coast-to-coast challenge and raised £1,295 for Upbeat! Or, you could take part in a triathlon like Chris from Nationwide, who raised £832 by swimming, cycling and running his way to the finish line.
