Team Upbeat Conquered the Inflatable 5K! | Fundraising for Refugees in Derby
We wanted to thank and celebrate the incredible team of people who took part in the Inflatable 5K this September—to raise money for Upbeat Communities’ work welcoming refugees.
As a charity, we rely on donations from the public—partly through fundraising events like the Inflatable 5K in Bakewell! What better way to raise support and stand in solidarity with refugees than by catapulting yourself across bouncy objects?!
We’re so grateful to Team Upbeat for taking part, and to all their family and friends for sponsoring them so Upbeat can keep supporting refugees in the East Midlands.
Together, the team have raised over £2,700 so far—and the total is still climbing. You can add your contribution via the button below to fund vital English classes, support into employment, emergency accommodation, and much more for refugees rebuilding their lives. 👇
Our runners shared:
“I feel really proud to support such an amazing charity.”
“It was a fun yet challenging event that had a real sense of togetherness and achievement.”
“Thanks for a well-organised, encouraging event!”
