Thank you to everyone who supported Upbeat Communities during the Big Give Christmas Challenge this year. Together, we raised a staggering £25,455 for our Integration Hub—where we build community, family, and belonging for people seeking sanctuary in Derby.

We’re grateful for the individuals, businesses and churches who supported the campaign, including the team at Getinge Derby, Vaillant, and Stacey Foo Consulting.

Now, refugees and asylum seekers can continue to find a place where they feel seen, valued, and at home. They have a place where they can learn English to break down language barriers, find support for employment to rebuild their lives and make life-long friends.

The money raised will cover the costs of 5 months at our Integration Hub in Derby city centre, funding a safe space for our activities to run: English classes, community meals, 1-to-1 support, wellbeing groups, Welcome Boxes, and so much more.
